Digital strategy & implementation for a consumer appliances eCommerce brand

Project: Digital strategy and implementation for an eCommerce DTC brand (home appliances, part of bathroom tech space). The challenge was launching a DTC ecommerce brand during a global pandemic, aimed at the luxury consumer appliances market.

Strategy & channels: Focus on customer acquisition & ecommerce conversions primarily through 1) an aggressive content marketing strategy (we brought in three copywriters, SEO tools, competitor keywords and innovative ideas), 2) performance marketing, initially through a strategy optimising for conversion events then pivoted to getting as many relevant clicks as possible and 3) email marketing where we experimented with three different content strategies until we settled on one that was yielding tangible ROI - actual sales.

Results:


ROAS (return on ad spend): 6.86 within the first year

Revenue: 74% increase from January 2021 to February 2021 alone! January 2021 saw a 46% increase to December's 2020 revenue

Average order value: Increase with 15%
