Experimenting with AI platforms series: Notably

I’m launching a new series on the blog - Experimenting with AI platforms series. Kicking off my deep dive into the emerging AI platforms with Notably

Premise of Notably (according to them): ‘’Understand your customers 10x faster. Better, faster insights from user interviews, usability tests, focus groups, and more with Notably's AI-powered research platform.’’

First impressions/thoughts: My initial thought upon scanning the website is ‘Is this relevant to me as a digital marketer or is this much more tailored to clinical research?’’ Followed by ‘Ooooh digital sticky notes analysis, I love this’. Overall focus is on creating insights out of qualitative data.

Closer look: In terms of where I can use Notably to add value to clients, it would fall under customer research phase especially with functionality to move customer research data around freely and spatially with sticky notes on a canvas yet able to make meaning out of these & drag and drop digital sticky notes into groups on frameworks, like an empathy map, journey map, or affinity map.

UX of Notably: Super easy to sign up, clean & concise interface, and clear how to proceed with the first project (first project is free). Option to transcribe a video or highlight and tag the important parts of your data to analyze or drag and drop sticky notes on top of eachother to create themes as patterns emerge in the data.

Final verdict: This would be a platform I’d be very interested to utlize for customer research when conceptualizing and compiling digital strategies for clients especially in terms of highlighting themes and patterns that might emerge.
